Jewelry designer, Irene Wood, translates ancient artifacts into powerful contemporary jewelry. She uses bold mixed materials of semi-precious stones, wood beads and hand-made vintage plastics as elements in her richly colored and textural pieces.

Working from her Brooklyn studio, Irene Wood is a regular exhibitor at NY’s Museum of Art and Design.

Visit her collection presented by Barbara Senchak in a special Trunk Show on August 19th at Louisa Gould Gallery, 54 Main Street Vineyard Haven, 12-4pm champagne reception. Show will continue until April 26th.
