Bob has shown at the gallery for five years, mostly with bright, bold detailed original oil paintings of iconic Americana images. This exhibit focuses on his black and white work. The intense detail of a baseball glove, leather jacket, egg carton are truly amazing. One can truly feel the texture of the cloth. 

Bob taught painting and drawing at Penn State University for thirty five years. He received his MFA from Idaho State in 1981. Now retired he paints full time, choosing subject matters that are challenge to paint.
